July 23, 2012 – Pittsburgh’s first ever Food Truck Roundup will take place this Saturday, July 28, from 6 pm to 10 pm, in the parking lot at 188 43rd Street near Butler Street in Lawrenceville.

Presenting delicious fare will be the Franktuary Truck, Polish Pierogi Truck, and Oh My Grill!  Frankfurters and poutine, homemade pierogies and other Polish delights, and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches will range from $3 to $8.  A wading pool will be available for small children and those who would like to cool off their feet.

Roundup organizer and Franktuary co-owner Megan Lindsey hopes the event will expand to feature many more food trucks in various Pittsburgh neighborhoods.  “Several other trucks have nearly finished the build-out process for mobile vending…it’s very exciting to see Pittsburgh’s food truck scene shaping up to offer more variety.”

Parking is available at the public lot on Butler and 43rd; attendees are encouraged to walk or ride their bikes to the Roundup.
