Poutine is the new sushi, that’s what I always say. What I mean by that is that it’s a food Americans will wholeheartedly embrace once they stop being afraid to try it. The fact that we’re seeing it in more and more restaurants around Pittsburgh suggests that my theory is correct.
Of course, the Franktuary truck has been serving poutine for years. In addition, now that we have a larger space with a more robust kitchen we can finally offer the poutine we’ve always dreamed of serving. Did I mention our poutine works for both vegetarians and those who keep a gluten free diet? Yet it’s so good.
So, if you haven’t already, come by our new space in Lawrenceville and give it a try. You won’t leave disappointed. And while you can’t try poutine at our original location because of its kitchen restraints, that hasn’t stopped us from delivering one of the best fried potato experiences a person can have anywhere downtown. In the very near future we’ll be rolling out a partnership with a new chip company. Take it from someone who reads taquitos.net on a regular basis. These chips are the real deal.
